Fund Raiser for Ron Forth
Ron Forth is a 17 year old who lives in Cherry Creek, N.Y. He is the son of Paul and Mary Kay Forth. Mary Kay has been an employee at Cockaigne Ski Area for the past three years. Ron is a senior at Cassadaga Valley High School. His current part time job is at Cockaigne Ski Area as a Learning Center Instructor under Mike Keagy, the Director. He has had 7 years of riding at Cockaigne. Ron has competed in local events and is sponsored by Suburban Blend in Jamestown, NY. He has won first in 3 of 4 regional qualifiers for the U.S.A.S.A. Slope Style Junior Men in Western NY.
Ron is going to compete at the U.S.A.S.A. 21st Annual National Championships in the Slope Style Junior Men Division between April 3 - 9, 2010. This competition will take place at the Copper Mountain Ski Area in Colorado. Ron is currently ranked 6th in the nation.
The proceeds from this fundraiser will help provide Ron and his family with all of the expenses involved in this competition including: lift ticket(s), fees, traveling, lodging, and food.
